WANGANUI TOURNAMENT. SAUNDERS WINS CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The weather was again fine to-day for the final of the golf tournament. Gonvllle Saunders (Wanganui) defeated Knight (Dannevirke) by 2 up and 1 in the final of the Wanganui Club’s amateur championship. In the semifinal Knight had beaten H. B. Lusk 4 up and 3. In the professional match, in the semifinals Clements beat Shaw and Ham beat Brooks. In the final Clements beat Ham 2 up. Other results are : Third medal match.-—H. Christie 76. Meldrum 79. Beavan, Goldingham ami Parkes also tied for second place, but lost in the draw. Second bogey.—F. S. Parkes 3 up. J. W. Stephenson 2 up. Ladies’ putting.—Mrs. Hoult IS. Gentlemen : J. C. Templar and W. Muir 17. ROTORUA TOURNAMENT. Rotorua, Last Night. The Rotorua golf tournament championships concluded to-day. Sixteen competed.
