Harris 70, pass (violin); K. Priest 68, pass (piano). Preparatory.—E. McAllum 85, honors (piano); D. Manby 81, honors (piano) ; M. Leech 81, honors (violincello); L. Coldwell 80, honors (piano); Y. Pullen 77, pass (piano); L. Harris 71, pass (piano). First steps (piano).—L. Lindsay 84, L. Coldwell 83. Miss Ruth Nicholls, who has so creditably gained her A.T.C.L. (practical), has been a pupil of the local convent from the beginning of her musical course. This talented young pupil has just completed her sixteenth year, and is to be congratulated on being the youngest candidate in Inglewood to gain this distinction. Her brilliant playing was the subject of a complimentary remark by Mr. Vincent, the examiner.
