Miss Ederle, swimming ’n a 75 foot pool at New York, set five new world’s records, doing 500 yards in 375 1-5 see.. 440 yards in 354 3-5 sec., 400 metres in 353 1-5 sec., 400 yards in 322 2-5 sec., and 300 yards in 238 2-5 sec.
