BROTHERS DROWNED.

A DISTRESSING CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, Sept. 4. The bodies of two boys, Thomas and Colin Lyons, aged 14 and 12 respectively. the sons of Joseph Lyons, of Te Hauke, were found in the Te Ante Lake, the former on Friday and the latter yesterday. It will be remembered the boys were boating on the lake on August 13 and a persistent search has been made since. At the inquest a verdict of “accidentally drowned” was returned. A distressing development in connection with the tragedy is that the unfortunate mother lost her reason under the strain and was removed to the mental hospital.
