SETTLEMENT EFFECTED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Halifax (Nova Scotia), Sept. 1. Ten thousand Nova Scotian miners have accepted the wages offer by the British (Empire Steel Corporation, ending a two weeks’ strike. The troops have been ordered to evacuate the properties. There has been a loss of 75/000 dollars in wages, and also a loss of output of 250,000 tons.
