Kathleen Wellington (Stamey School) 2, Linda Mart (Stanley School) 3. Child’s frock.—Eva Warren fHawera) 1. Flannel sampler.—Edna Ls»h (Stanley School) 1, Emma Botten (Stanley School) 2. Essie Lash (Stanley School) 3. Buttonholes.—Mildred Oldridge (Te Popo) 1. Malcolm Knox (Te Popo) 2, Gladys Agent (Te Popo) 3. Birds’ eggs.—Leslie Lash 1 Mrs. S. Slater won the cooking cup, and .holds it for a year. Mrs. H. Wheller was runner-up. Miss Gladys Whittington won a special prize for most points in the junior cookery sectwn. Mr. G. S. Strack won the cake-guessing competition. Mr. V. Smith won the chain-stepping and nail-driving competitions. Mrs. S. Slater and Miss Hart tied in the guessing competition' in the tea rooms. The ladles drew, and Mrs. Slatet won. Mr. V. Smith and Mrs. H. Newland guessed the correct weight of the sheep, the lady receiving the prize. The flowers for the decorative section were very ‘beautiful. Messrs. W. Gorki!! and W. Webster, of Stratford, nnd Messrs. J. Gibson and W. H. Besley and Mrs. A- H. Carter, of New Plymouth, supplied them. Tlie success of the function, it should be stated, was very largely due to the ability and energy of the hon. secretary (Miss Sartori).
