THE BONUS REDUCTION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In reply to a request from the Public Service Association that the first cut i t salaries of police officers be reduced from £lB 15s to £l5, the Minister of Justice stated that when the bonus of £5O was granted other civil servant® constables and non-commissioned officers received £54 15s. The first cut of £lB ss, as against £l5, still left the polled with a bonus of £36 10s, compared witH £35 left to public servants and taking the second cut into consideration. both the police and the publid servants had their bonus reduced 50 pef cent. Considering also that the polled received a larger bonus at first, they still get £27 7s, as compared with £23| for other public servants. -
