LATEST LONDON PRICES. Received Sept. 1, 5.5 p.m. London, August 31. The butter market is quiet. New Zealand choicest is worth 206 s to 208 s and Australian 200 s. Danish is weak and is quoted at 2045. Unsalted butter is scarce, New Zealand being quoted at 220 s and Australian 2145.
The cheese market is steady. New Zealand colored is bringing 84s and white 88s.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
