TRADE WITH GERMANY.
MAY RESUME NEXT YEAR. (By Wire. —Parliamentary' Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. “A resumption of trade with Germany may be permitted by the beginning of next year,” said the Minister of Customs in answer to a question in the House to-day. The Minister added that he hoped to introduce a Customs Bill at an early date under which duties would be fixed to meet the extraordinary currency situation prevailing in Germany.
