BOWLING.
OPUNAKE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Opunake Bowling Club was held on Friday evening. Mr. G. Hammond presided over an attendance of 14 members. In moving the adoption of the balance-sheet the president referred to the successful year’s bowling. Mr. G. Hammond declined re-election as president, and the following officials were appointed for the ensuing year: President, Mr. N. Andrews; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. H. Sinclair and F. Carter; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Harrigan; green wardens, Messrs. A. Clough and R. Morris; 4 committee, Messrs. J. P. Burton, G. Hammond, G. H. Rogers, J. Judson, and G. Feaver; selector, Mr. J. P. Burton; refreshment committee, Messrs. G. Hammond, and G. Feaver; auditor, Mr. T. H. Sinclair; delegate to centre, Mr. A. Andrews.
