Melbourne, Aug. 27. Sparto narrowly defeated McCarthy on points for the feather-weight championship of Australia, after a sultry 20 ounds. A WIN FOR C. McCANN. Westport, Last Night. In a professional boxing bout at Westport on Saturday evening, for a purse of £l3O, Charles McCann got the decision on points over Mike Flynn. Both gave a fine exhibition of boxing.
