ESCAPE CUT OFF.
FAMILY BURNED TO DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Aug. 24, 8.40 p.m. Sydney, August 24. At the inquest on the Ferguson family, who were burned in their house near Ryalstonp, an open verdict was returned. The evidence showed that the fire cut off the only door in the house and the windows were too small to permit of escape.
