“PRINCESS OF POPPYLAND.” The pupils of the New Plymouth Technical College repeated their performance of the “Princess of ’Poppyland before a. very pleased audience at the Empire Theatre on Wednesday night. The performance of the previous evening had given the youthful performers a good deal of encouragement, which was reflected in their singing, acting, and movement on the stage generally. The chorus work and the dancing of the gypsies and the flower girls were particularly pleasing, while once again the juvenile principals showed a considerable amount of ability in extracting the best- from their respective parts.
