“DO YOUR DUTY.”
ADVICE BY HINDENBURG. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, August 22. Speaking at the Hindenburg welcome at Munich, General Bothmer congratulated him on holding out to the last, when perfidious treason overthrew the unbeaten army in the field. Marshal Hindenburg replied brifly, exhorting his hearers to do their duty. The Imperial Government had previously made representations to Bavaria forbidding the Reichswehr participating in the demonstration and the latter did not go beyond vocal efforts and flagwagging on the stage. No one was injured, except the correspondent of a Radical newspaper, who was mishandled and rescued by the police.
