SCHOOL GIRLS FORM CLUB. ’ By Telegraph.—Press Association. Te Kuiti, Last Night. The first poultry club in the Southern Hemisphere among public school girls was formed at Te Kuiti to-day with a membership of fifty. Addressee were delivered by Messrs. C. E. Cuming (editor of the Dairy Farmer) and E. Jarrett (poultry instructor for the Agricultural Depatment). Each child was supplied with a hen, eggs and boxes gratis and a periodical inspection by Mr- Jarrett will be made. The children, who will be further encouraged by competitions, are already manifesting considerable enthusiasm.
