CASE OF MAJOR NEILSON. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Aug. 15, 7 p.m. London, August 13. The Home Office states an examination of Major Neilson showed the letters “Ari,’ which is “Ira” inverted, and which was thrice repeated, were found scratched on his chest, also a wound on his forearm. They were apparently caused by a sharp instrument. A bloodstained razor was found at his lodgings. Though Neilson adheres to his story the local police have dropped the case.
