NELSON COLLEGE.
VISIT OF FOOTBALL TEAM. Next week the Nelson College football team will visit New Plymouth to play a match against the Boys’ High School. A meeting of old Nelson ians resident in this district was held last night to discuss arrangements for entertaining the Nelson boys. Mr. W. H. Moyes presided over an attendance of twelve old boys, and apologies were received from seven others. The members of the team will arrive by the mail train next Tuesday night, and during their stay will be billeted by High School boys. On Wednesday they will be the guests of the old boys at Itineh, and in the afternoon they will be taken for a motor drive to the mountain. On Thursday afternoon the match will be played, and in the evening there will be a dance at the High School, to which boys of Nelson are invited. The visitors leave by the mail train on Friday morning. At last night’s meeting a sub-committee consisting of Messrs. W. H. Moyes, E. F. Blundell and E. King was appointed to make arrangements for entertaining the team on the Wednesday. It is desired to obtain a complete Ijst of old boys of Nelson residing in this district, and those not included in the following, who attended last night’s meeting or sent apologies, are asked to communicate with Mr. E.
