INGLEWOOD.

THE LATE MR. HENRY BROWN. (From Our Own Correspondent.) At the Church of England at Inglewood yesterday, in the presence of a full congregation, a very fine brass lectern was unveiled by Mrs. Henry Brown. This has been presented to the church by Mrs. Brown and family in memory of the late Mr. Henry Brown, who died on March 10, 1921. The lectern is of the usual eagle design and with the pedestal is of solid brass, beautifully finished and moulded, and bearing the inscription: “Henry Brown, died 10th March, 1921. Presented by his wife and children.” The Rev. Stanton officiated at the service, which was sacramental, and in accepting the handsome gift on behalf of the church referred in kindly terms to the many years of willing service so freely given to the church by the late Mr. Brown. The lectern, which was made in England, was selected by Mrs. W. H. Skinner.
