One of the best ideals offered to the public for some time, for helping the working girl to healthy enjoyment, is that formed by the New Plymouth Ladies’ Life-saving Club to open tennis courts for their members, as a branch of their work. This is an object that should meet with favor by the townspeople, and jt is hoped that they will give their hearty support by attending the entertainment in aid of the club’s funds in the Emoire Theatre <M> Augu«t 15.
