A special exhibition doubles match was played at the request of the manager of the French Davis Cup team for the purpose of selecting the doubles combination to represent France against Australia in the semi-final of the international meeting at Longwood next week. It was won by an American pair, Behr and Hardy, who defeated Goberf and- Cochet.
