LONDON WOOL MARKET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile; Agency Company, Ltd. have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 3rd instant:— Wool Sales.—The sales closed flnmly to-day. As compared with last sales’ closing rates prices for scoured crossbred, greasy crossbred, lambs and crossbred slipe are about the same; for scoured super .and medium merino, merino lambs and greasy crossbred prices are higher about par to 5 iter cent.; for greasy merino prices are about par to 5 per cent, lower. Average current London value of the undernoted descriptions of New Zealand greasy wool: Good merino 23d, medium imerino 19d, inferior merino 15 %d, fine crossbred ITd, medium crossbred B%d, coarse crossbred (40's) 6%d, coarse crossbred (36'a) ©%d. The next series of sales open on September 4. INGLEWOOD STOCK MARKET. (From Our Own Correspondent.) There was a full attendance and good yarding for the Farmers’ Co-op. sale on Wednesday, and no marked change in prices lately quoted. A large number of dairy stock was offered, whilst young, good-conditioned animals throwing well for early profit were in fair demand; late calves and beasts in poor condition were not sought by purchasers. For young stock, healthy heifers, especially those •showing Jersey strain, were in market demand. Prices obtained were: Yearling heifers, mixed 2Os to 365, with Jersey strain up to £6 6s, empty heifers from £3 10s to £5, 2-year-old heifers in calf £5, dairy cows from £3 for poor quality, and late calvers to £9, for better class up to £l3 10s, springing heifers up to £B, no very prime lots on offer, light store cows from 15s to 255, young fresh conditioned up to £3, bulls from 30s to 60s. In lamb ewes 2, A and 6-tooth 255, hoggets 16s, and store wethers 20s;
