In the House of Commons, moving the adjournment of the debate, Mr. Rhys Davies criticised the .Labor Ministry regarding the conditions laid down for the future establishment of trade boards. He urged that these had resulted in rescuing three million workers, mainly women and girls, from sweating conditions, but to-day girls were employed in certain London cafes at 10s weekly. The Labor Ministry should lay down the minimum wage. Mr. Macnamara said the Cabinet was considering a Bill regarding trade boards.
