EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
SIR FRANCIS BELL’S APPROVAL. by Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received August 3, 5.5 p.m. London, August 2. Sir Francis Bell visited Wembley -Park and saw the Empire Exhibition buildings, which are in process of construction. He is of opinion the scheme has been conceived on splendid lines, and, if financial conditions improve, it should be a great success. If New Zealand cooperates it must be on generous lines, and she must make a good show. —Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
