NEW SHARE CAPITAL.
BANK DENIES RUMOR. By Telegraph.—Prer.s Association. Wellington. August 2. The general manager of the Bank of New Zealand refers to the rumored new issue of capital and authorises a statement that there is no change in the position since the chairman's statemenl at the annual meeting and that he could give no idea when further share. capital would be issued. The directors had not seriously considered the matter.
