PAEKAKARIKI BURGLARY.
ACCUSED IN SUPREME COURT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, August 2Reginald William Gunn was charged at the Supreme Court before Mr. Justice Chapman with breaking and entering the Paekakariki Refreshment Room© on January 7; also with receiving £4fl knowing it to be stolen. He pleaded not guilty. Mr. Macassey, the Crown Prosecutor, said that Gunn had provided the car and benzine for the exploit. He mentioned that the person hitherto called X was one Tom Wright. He proceeded to call evidence on the lines that were givn in the Magistrate’s Court.
