Day 107), beat Warwickshire, 252 (Smith 114) and 123. Essex, 174 and 299, beat Sussex, 127 and 165. Received Aug. 2, 5.5 p.m. London, August 1. Playing a magnificent uphill game against Surrey, Kent succeeded in drawing the match, making 557 for deven wickets. Seymour 129 and Hardinge 119 added 205 for the second wicket. Woolley made 100.
