Mr. J. Craigie, M.P. for Timaru, is spending the week-end in Stratford.
Mr. J. R. Corrigan was on Saturday re-elected chairman of directors of the Hawera Dairy Co. Dr. T. B . A. Vai in tine, InspectorGeneral of Health, who has been indisposed during the past week or so, is now improving, but it is unlikely that he will return to his office for some days Messrs. S. G. Smith, R. Masters, O. Hawken and E. Dixon, M.P.’e, returned to Taranaki by the mail train on Saturday night. They leave again for Wellington to-morrow.
