HOLY OR HOLIDAY?
DEFINITION OF ANZAC DAY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A case said to be of Dominion importance was brought by the inspector of awards against a factory for not paying wages to certain employees on Anzae Day. It was contended it was a holy day, not a holiday, and both employers and employees must go without profit on that day. The Magistrate said he was of opinion that the case must be dismissed but he would give a written decision.
