CINEMA TRAGEDY.

COURT ACTION FOLLOWS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received July 25, 10.40 p.m. Washington, July 24. The Supreme Court dismissed an indictment charging the owners, builders and architect of the Knickerbocker Cinema Theatre with murder, as the result of the tragic collapse of the roof last winter. The Court held that the indictment was defective and insufficient, because it did not contain essential facts forming the basis of the alleged offence. An appeal will be taken to the Court of Appeal.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
