z THE NEXT MEETS. The next meet of the North Taranaki Hunt Club will take place Saturday at Mr. Walton’s farm, Waihl, whilst on the following Thursday (August 3) a meet will be belrt at the farm, of Mr. J. B. Mabin, Onaero. Owners who intend entering their horses for the forthcoming steeplechase meeting on September 2 are reminded that it is necessary for horses to attend five hunts in order to qualify. Nominations close on August 11 at 9 p.m. with the secretary (Mr. E. L. Humphries, New Plymouth).
