MARRIED MAN’S DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Thomas Clarke, aged 40, married, who was living alone, was found dead at his home this morning with the gas turned on. The circumstances point to suicide. MISSING WOMAN’S BODY FOUND. Christchurch, Last Night. The body found in the sea near “Taylor’s Mistake,” at Sumner, has been identified as that of Miss Kate Lane, aged .57 years, who has been missing from her home, Armagh Street, since Tuesday. It is presumed she fell down the cliffs. BODY FOUND IN RIVER. Wairoa, Last Night. The decomposed body of a man was found in the Wairoa River by two boys this afternoon, and it was identified as that of a returned, soldier named Francis Croker Stewart, formerly a porter at the Wairoa Hotel. He had been missing since the end of last month.
