FINANCE IN GERMANY.

The Allied committee on guarantees has returned and reports that the Gernaan Finance Ministry has accepted the committee's recommends fions Aus.-N-Z. Cable Ama. Received July 21, fl-55 p.m. Berlin, July 20. The Ministry of Finance has accepted the Allied ' guarantees committee’s scheme to cheek the flight of wealth by taxing the experts of same, provided the scheme does not disturb the sovereignty of the Reichstag, the orderly course of German administration or the taxpayers right to the confidential treatment of his affairs. It was agreed unofficially that the control of German revenue be vested in two delegates of the guarantees committea and it is intended to establish a system of control analogous to that exercised by the inter-ABied eommiasion regarding disarmament, excepting that the official-, of the guarantees committee will have to depend upon the German authorities for information and they will not have the absolute right of access enjoyed by officers of the com-mission.—-Ans.-N-Z.
