HUNTING.

MEET THIS AFTERNOON. | The North Taranaki Hunt will meet to-day at Mrs. F. H. Sampson’s, Sentry Hill, when some excellent sport may he looked forward to. Apart from the hunting, a. miniature steeplechase course has been laid out, and spectators will have the pleasure of witnessing some tip-top jumping by the followers of the pack. The Hunt are greatly Indebted to Mrs. and Mr. Sampson for their kindness in allowing the Hunt to use their property for the second time this season, to say nothing of the unbounded hospitality always to be found at. the homestead. The throw-off has been fixed for 2 p.m. to enable visitors from a distance to witness as much of the sport as possible.
