THE ANNUAL REPORT. The annual report of the Midhirst Dairy Company states, inter alia : Season 1920-21: Milk received 20,493,9891 b. j 86®.R181h. butter-fat, 1,051,3581 b. butter; season 1921-22, milk received 25,902,0321 b., 1,123,5931 b. butter-fat (home separated cream 14,8551 b.), 1,327,5411 b. butter. The balancesheet shows a surplus of £10,249 19s 6d. which will suffice to make a further payment over September to May (fat)—both months inclusive—of 2*4d, which will be paid on July 20. Suppliers will then have been paid Is 3d on all fat for the season. Payments on fat during the season will then be: June Is lid. August 2s, September Is 7%d, October and November Is 5%d, December 10*4d, January and February 12*4'd, March Is 2%d, April and May Is s*4d. The sum of £GCS 3s 3d has been written off for depreciation on lines as required by the Commissioner of Taxes. Cost of manufacture 2d, as against 2.60 d last season. To date we have nothing of a reliable nature to place before the suppliers re casein, but will have something definite to report at the gene - al meeting. The following directors retire by rotation, and are eligible for re-election; G. Sangster, W. J. Wellington, and J. Mahon. You wilt be requested to appoint an auditor. Mr. T.
