NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. I THE BREWSTER CUP. The semi-finals of the Brewster Cup were played on the Waiwakaiho links yesterday, when Miss Shaw (handicap 36) beat Miss Gavin (10) 2 up, and Miss Thomson (18) beat Miss Stanford (18) 6 up and* 5. Miss Shaw and Miss Thomson now meet in the final. A medal match was also played yesterday, the best scores being:— Mrs. Burke 106 —22—84 Mrs. Mac Diarmid —3O 86 Miss Thomson 105—18—87 Miss Foote 122 —32—90 Next Tuesday a medal match will be played for a prize donated by Mrs. Perry, players to choose their partners.
