THE POSITION IN OTAGO. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. With regard to the position at the Burnside and Balclutha freezing works, there is no move on the lines of that reported from Christchurch. “We hear on all sides that the men are anxious to return,” stated the manager at Burnside, “ but there is evidently some strong influence restraining them.” The output is being well maintained, and at the present it will only take a few weeks to clear up all stock suitable for freezing in the district.
