MILITARY DEFAULTERS.
DEBARRED FROM FOOTBALL. ACTION BY OTAGO UNION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. A meeting of delegates of the Otago Rugby Union was held to-night, to consider a resolution from the district council of the Returned Soldiers’ Association suggesting that all military defaulters should be debarred from playing Rugby football or athletic games. It was decided by the Rugby Uniort to uphold the resolution, and further, that all those defaulters be debarred from playing football for ten years from this date. The voting was 27 votes to 4.
