ORANGE CELEBRATIONS GREAT DAY IN BELFAST. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —CopyrightReceived July 13, 5.5 p.m. London, July 12. At the Belfast Battle of the Boyne cele brations 50,000 Orangemen, with bands and banners, went in procession through the city. A hundred thousand demonstrated later at Ballylesson. Police, troops and a great number of armored cars were stationed at danger-points. Sir James Craig, addressing the gathering, told Loyalists throughout the world that the present crisis involved them iu it, because Ulster’s patriotism was immovable, and the enemies of Britain could not shift the rock on which the Empire was founded. Ulster’s cause was the cause of all Loyalists in the Dominions and all parts of the world. Attempts bad been made by assassinations and burnings to overthrow them, but all had failed and would always fail. REPUBLICANS’ CLAIM. TO CONTROL COUNTRYSIDE. Received July 13, 8.40 pjn. The Republicans rfacially claim possession of the entire .ountryside from Kerry to Newtownbsrry, in County Wexford, and from Kerry to County Mayo they are operating Mil post-offices and collecting excise axd customs duties at the rate of £12,000 weekly. They are also in complete control of Cork City, where the Rep'.biic as accepted as a fact and life is proceeding on normal lines. An unconfirmed report is circulating that • republic has been proclaimed in Cork.— Reuter. FREE STATE PARLIAMENT. Received July 13, 1030 p.m. London, July 13. The re-opening of the Free State Parliament has been postponed for 14 days, owing to a number of members being on active service.
