Nineteen of them are suffering from minor injuries, which are attributed to the hard grounds, especially in the country centres. The manager stresses the need for a conference to discuss the interpretation of rules, stating that the decisions in many instances were remarkable and not at all in agreement sith the interpretation in New Zealand, A FRIENDLY MATCH. ■STRATFORD (28) v. STRATHMORE (31. The Stratford juniors gained an easy victory over Strathmore at Stratford, yesterday, by 28 points to* 3. For Stratford, tries were scored by Johnson, Thorpe, Boon, Ginner, Collins and Nolan, A. Collins converting four and W. Sharrock one, and Cameron kicked a goal from a penalty. Strathmore’s try was scored by Hod Son, Meredith failing to convert.
