GRAVES IN GERMANY.

CARE OF ALLIES’ PLOTS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 11, 5.5 p.m. London, July 10. Mr. M. L. Shepherd (of Australia House), who has returned from Germany, motored 700 miles and visited all the most important military cemeteries. He was most impressed by the care and attention shown by the Germans in connection with the upkeep of the graves of Allied soldiers, and also the fine lay-out and beautiful surroundings of the cemeteries generally. Mr. Shepherd succeeded in tracing and identifying many Australian graves, and he believes a systematic and prolonged search of the German records will reveal many others.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
