SCHOOL BOYS’ OUTING.

HOSPITALITY AT HAWERA. The boys of the New Plymouth High School look forward to the annua’, match between the school football team and Wanganui College, which takes place at Hawera during Dominion Show week, and make the day a notable one. On Saturday about 350 boys made the trip by special train, and while the members of the team were, with the Wanganui College team, entertained by the Taranaki Rugby Union, the army of supporters were the guests of the Hawera people. On the arrival of the train, the boys proceeded to the Foresters’ Hall, where tables had been arranged and beautifully decorated, being also laden with jellies, fruit salads, sandwiches, cakes and soft drinks, the preparations being made .by a ladies’ committee.
