Seminof, who secured permission after much pleading to land at Nagasaki to visit the hot springs, has landed into a lawsuit With a Japanese firin which furnished five thousand pairs of shoes to Seminof’s forces. The firm had an agent on the wharf to present a bill and press for payment.
