Webster Bros, report: Cockerels 3s lid to 5s 4d; liens 2s 5d to 3s 8d; pullets 5s 6d to 7s fld. L. A. Nolan and Co. report having held a special sale of purebred poultry at their mart. Three hundred birds were penned,, representing all the best-known- breeds of the district. The quality of the birds was of a high standard. There was a wide range iri prices, the highest being a line of White Leghorn cocker' - the property of Mr. R. Wilson (Vogeitov. which realised 30s each. Prices were : White Leghorns: Cockerels 5s to 30s, pullets 6s t» lls 6d, trios £ 1 to £ 1 13s. Brown Leghorns : Pullets S 3 3d, cockerels up to 10s, trios £1 3s 6d. Black Orpingtons: Cockerels 4s 6d to 10s, hens 7s, trios £1 Is to £1 133. Rhode Island Reds: Cockerels 7s to 9s. Minorcas: Cockerels 3s 3d to 7s, hens 5s to H's, trios £1 10s. Hamburgs: Pullets 5s to 7s. White Rocks: Cockerels 4s to 10s, pullets Gs 6d. Cainplnes: Cockerels 3s 6d. Indian Runner ducks 6s 6d. At L. A. Nolan and Co.’s ordinary sale, cockerels realised 2s 3d to 4s 6d, hens 2s 9d to 3s (id, ducks 2s 6d to 3s Bd, turkeys 8s 9d to 9s 6d.
