BOARD CAN HANDLE PROBLEMS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Minister for Health informed Dr. H. T. Thacker (Christchurch East), in the House to-day, that no Public Health Act Amendment was proposed to be brought down this session. He did not see any necessity to set up a Royal Commission to inquire into tuberculosis and venereal disease in New Zealand, as he considered the existing Board of xiealth quite competent to deal with the subject, as well as being more economical.
