KING REVIEWS FLEET.

NAVY MANOEUVRES REVIVED. MIMIC BATTLE AT SEA. By Telegraph —Press Assn—Copyright. Received July 5, 5.5 p.m. London, July 4. There was a notable spectacle at Torbay, where the Fleet assembled to meet the King on board the Royal yacht. His Majesty is spending a few days there. The Empire’s first defence, the submarine flotilla, led the line in single file, followed by three lines of destroyers, and then came two lines of light cruisers, followed by the battleships, the Queen Elizabeth ending the line. As the yacht entered ‘the line and dropped anchor the Fleet fired the Royal salute and dressed ships. The Fleet’s exercises will include a mimic battle, with torpedo attacks and the destruction of the ex-German cruiser Nuremberg by big gun practice. — Aus.-NJZ. Cable Assn.
