GERMANY’S MAGNATE.

POLITICAL POWER WANING. Berlin, June 6. A definite break between the German Government magnate, is indicated in the announcement to-day ’that the newspaper Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung, which is owned by Herr Stinnes, is no longer the Government’s official organ. It has been known for some time that Herr Stinnes is out of sympathy with the Government, especially regardin<r. reparation and the threatened occupation of the Ruhr. Hen* Stinnes always advocated that Germany should refuse to' meet the reparation bill. The first sign of the decay of the considerable influence of Herr Stinnes with the Government is shown in the appointment of Dr. Rathenau, a political enemy of the magnate, as Foreign Minister.
