BOXING.

TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the committee of the Taranaki Boxing Association wa 8 held last night. Present: Messrs. W. Graham (in the chair), G. E. Jago, C. Grainger, N. B. Howell, R. Paul, A. Baker and C. H. Wynyard (secretary). A number of apologies were received. It was decided to hold a tournament on August 12, the date of the Auckland-Taranaki match, when an endeavor will be made to match Jack Keenan and Paul Hanna for a purse of £ 100 Including expenses. Mr. F. Burns will be asked to referee. Messrs. Howell, Jackson and Jago were appointed a committee to arrange trophies. Accounts totalling £262, in connection with the last tournament, were passed for payment.
