“THE FARMERS’ GUIDE TO PROSPERITY.” We have received from Mr. F. W. Court, the local representative of tlie Wanganui -Fresh Food and Ice Company, a copy of a book for farmers which the company lias issped under the above title. It contains much useful information in regard to the treatment for the more common ailments of dairy' stock, how to make pig ; keeping most profitable, tlie care of cream, and many other general hints for the dairy farmer. The company, of course, a firm believer in home separation, and sets out its claim for a share of the dairy production of this province in a manner which should awaken interest in the mind of any dairy farmer. The chapter on “Testing”—which is always . a burning question—sets out very plainly the company’-s methods'= to give its clients a fair deal, and contains an invitation to suppliers to/visit the test rooms and sec actual tests made, or even to make tests themselves. Pleasing views of New Plymouth and Wanganui add to the .general-excellence of the -production, which was turned outfrom the jobbing department of the Taranaki Daily News.
