A YOUNG MAN KILLED. • TWO OTHERS INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. Samuel Coombe (farmer), Whitcombe (manager of the Bank of New South Wales), and Frank Lawrence (lawyer), all of Marton, were motoring on the Greatford-Marton road to-night when the car ran over the wall of a bridge at a dangerous bend of the road. When the party was discovered Lawrence was found dead pinned underneath the car. Death was probably instantaneous. The injuries of the others at present are not regarded as serious. Lawrence was a single man. He was recently admitted to the Bar. He was a very fine athlete. His parents reside in Wanganui.
