EMPLOYERS’ OFFER REFUSED. ByTelegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Representatives of the sheepowner< and the shearers of the Dominion met in conference this afternoon, when the owners made the following offer for the coming season: £1 per hundred for shearing flock sheep, 17s 6d per hundred for lambs, all bonuses to be abolished, pressers 50s weekly or Is 5d per > hour, all other shed hands 45s weekly ’ or Is 4d per hour, youths under eighteen 35s weekly ox- Is per hour, cooks £3 weekly. The shearers’ representatives refused to entertain the offer.
